THE GODS HAVE BLESSED US
Well. those great big fluffy snow flakes came down and obscured the world for about 20 minutes yesterday. No moisture from that kind of snow, but the rain that preceeded the snow for 48 hours has made a real difference.
I went to the range anyway and regulated the old Shilen. The rifle was right on and the blessed thing seems to like the heavy air. The rifle is one of Ed’s finest, 100% business. the targets were in the .2’s, and very consistent. It’s easy to see why the old 222 was the champion cartridge for so long.
I also went down to the loading cave and cranked out some Fireball rounds. There will be time for some balloons at Wenatchee. The melamine has worked out just great for the loading bench, and an addedvantage to the white is that it can be kept clean with less trouble. – Boy can you see a powder granule.
I took the opportunity to use the new little camera. It’s too small for my hands, but it sure is a marvel. It takes pretty good pictures. I’ve about got the Word Press picture stuff figured out. There is a slight chance that the weather will clear up a bit today. If it does I’m going fishing.
